"Andrew Archer brings a depth of insight, palpable hope and strategic skill to his work as a psychotherapist."

The mind fascinates me. It can swing from worrying about the worst-case scenario to dwelling on how we should have done something differently. I've gained an understanding of thinking patterns and together we can recognize yours. One of my passions is working with families to prevent or contain issues related to mental health before it gets out of hand. My therapeutic focus is not on diagnosis or the medical model in general. I want to know about your account of events, how you manage your relationships and the environment that has shaped your experience.
For over a decade, I’ve developed an expertise for working with adults to manage their mood and anxiety concerns. My clinical approach is to provide empathic support and practical feedback to help you effectively address personal life challenges. With compassion and understanding, I will work with you to build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you are committed to accomplishing. I'll share with you my academic, clinical and personal knowledge of how to be mentally fit. I keep up-to-date with mental health topics in order to ensure you receive the best treatment. When I’m not in the office, I’m writing or presenting on issues related to bipolar disorder and Mindfulness practices. At the center, I believe in creating ways to fix psychological problems without relying solely on medication.
"I have been blessed to watch Andrew mature as both a therapist and as a writer. I have been impressed by his commitment to his professional training and education as well as his devotion to his craft of communication. These commitments have served him well and continue to serve the clients fortunate enough to work with him. What might not be so evident is that Andrew's work rests on his commitment to a regular mindfulness practice, the foundation for an awake and aware expression of his therapeutic skills. If you want to work with someone who practices what he teaches, Andrew is that sort of professional."

All people at their deepest level want to feel connected with others. I meet with individuals, couples and families who are stuck and seeking emotional growth. This ranges from communication issues to the adjustment from an unforeseen event as well as decreasing stress. If you are ready and committed to look inside, I welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
